Know Before You Go-

A list of items to complete before international travel.

1)      Download the Mobil Passport app and VeriFly apps to help speed through customs when entering the United States. Only one person needs the app in a family booking. Each individual booking needs the app.

2)      Update phone plan- check to make sure you have international calling on your cell phone. Most companies have plans.

3)      Update your bank and credit card companies that you will be traveling out of the country. Failing to do this could have your acct frozen. It could be difficult to un-freeze your accounts at your destination.

4)      PRINT OUT ALL TRAVEL FORMS- confirmation, test results, booking etc. Keep them in your carry on.

5)      I highly recommend pre-testing for Covid-19 if traveling to Mexico even though it is not required currently.

6)      Arrive at airport at least 3 hours early.

7)      Be ready to check in early at the airport if your airline carrier does not have an app that will allow you to upload COVID-19 test results. These lines can be very long. Be there early.

8)      If traveling to Mexico- fill out the medical travel form for entry into Mexico. Keep this in a digital form on your phone and PRINT one out for your records in your carry on as well as the usual immigration form/ tourist card. Be sure to also have copies of the Attestation Form PRINTED out for each member of the family for the return trip. This is required to accompany your negative Covid test to reenter the United States.

9)      If traveling to international destinations that require pretravel testing, upload and PRINT out testing results.

10)   If you have had COVID-19 in the previous 3 months from travel and are traveling with a doctor’s note, please be aware a handwritten note may not be adequate for travel and may be refused as documentation.

11)   Please be aware that even Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) insurance will not pay for on the spot for medical issues. Plan to pay out of pocket for emergencies and being reimbursed after filing your claim.

12)   Always keep your Passport in your carry on for international travel. Passports may not be required for some cruising itineraries, but it is recommended you have a current Passport (with 6 months left before expiration date) with you anyway.
